You download a Facebook Reel, press play, and there is no sound. It is one of the most common complaints about Facebook downloaders, and it usually has nothing to do with your phone.

Why Facebook Reels download without sound
Facebook stores many videos as two separate streams: one with the picture and one with the audio. Basic downloaders grab only the picture stream, which is why the file plays silently. PullClip looks for the version that includes audio, or joins the two streams back together, so the MP4 you save plays with sound.
There is one exception no downloader can fix. When a creator adds a song from Facebook’s music library, Facebook plays that song on top of the video in the app but does not always include it in the downloadable file. Reels with voices, talking or original sound keep their audio. Reels that rely on a licensed library song may come out without the music.
How to download Facebook Reels with sound on Android
- Open the Reel in the Facebook app and tap Share.
- Tap Copy link. Links that start with facebook.com/share/r/ or fb.watch both work.

Still no sound? Check these first
- Phone on silent: some players respect the silent switch. Turn the volume up and try again.
- Music library song: if the Reel only has a licensed song, Facebook may not provide it for download.
- Old player app: open the file in VLC or your default gallery to rule out a player issue.
- Wrong link: copy the link again with Share, then Copy link, so PullClip gets the Reel itself and not the page around it.
